What to do with spare room?

We have a study, spare bedroom, second living room. Large, light room with amazing views that we don't want to waste ie as a second guest room but not sure what to do with it. Considered moving in and making it main bedroom but layout doesn't work.

What would you do with a very spare room with a view? Painting room (neither of us paint but maybe we should start!), Yoga room (same), open to any ideas!

Not sure I have any advice but sounds a lovely problem to have Smile

Could you move the study into it? We did that with our master bedroom - we only sleep/shag in the bedroom but don't really do much else in there, so it was a waste using the big room. Makes an excellent library, with great views. And I do yoga in it.

I'd have a really luxurious dressing room or library with a chaise longue!
Lucky you!

Do you have any hobbies? Like crafts, music etc I’d use it for that.

Do you have young kids? You could make it into a playroom/family room, with some comfy seats where you can sit and enjoy the view while supervising or playing with the children? As they get older you could keep it as their playroom, but also set it up as the place you go to play games with them/ to hang out when family friends come over with their children?

I’d rent it out to someone less fortunate than myself and allow them to worry about the view

My spare rooms are one as a guest room, one set up as a home gym and the final one I use as a dressing room/ ironing room. I’m not sure what other options there are apart from perhaps a library or hobbies room?

Let me put all the books, Lego and football programs from my house into it. I have a negative amount of room! 😁
