I want to cut my bed legs (4 poster) to have a shape to match a very similar bed. I believe the legs are made from Ash but I'm not totally sure. My carpenter friends tell me this'll be a bitch to cut but will it? I need a neat finish because I will then paint the bed. Do you have any hints & tips? I can't believe it's that difficult but I don't want to start this if I can't finish it. There will be 8 cuts to do in total.

You go through saw blades like nobodies business but it needs to be v.sharp or you'll make a mess.

Pay a professional to do it. You screw it up you will really kick yourself.
