Front door security camera recommendations

So - long story short (think Game of Thrones here):

We have a neighbour who thinks he owns the block. Allegedly meddles with people's front door locks when pissed off...

At last residents meeting he sat quietly, gave a few people long looks... and today a handful of locks have been meddled with. People who spoke up and queried some things/opposed him apparently.

I'm getting a security camera for my door - something small and easy to use.

Anyone got one they think is good?

We've just got Blink from Amazon...seems to do the job and it is completely wireless

Does it zap death rays?

We recently bought a Ring doorbell video camera. If someone rings the doorbell the live video link pops up on my mobile phone and I can speak to the person plus it with automatically detects and records any motion outside, but no button to deploy death rays :)

Not even a little death ray?
