Clay lump construction - Mortgage??

Hi
We've just had an offer on our house and now house hunting.
We have a viewing arranged for a lovely house, which looks perfect for us. However, it is of clay lump construction with a brick facade. I believe this is 'non-standard construction' so would it be difficult to get a mortgage on this? We already have an AIP but I'm thinking the construction may cause an issue?
Thanks!

You need to call the mortgage company, you may need a specialist - try a broker

Sorry, should have said, we have a mortgage advisor but she is away for the next few weeks. Our buyer is very keen so we're trying to move as quickly as possible! Appreciate it may not be an easy question to answer!

Santander mortgaged our ‘non standard construction’ home. Might be worth trying them?
