York is pretty, if you strip all the tourists away.
Ripon.
Bits of Durham are, but currently too many empty shops and rough sleepers. (and not blaming the rough sleepers for that)

Ludlow and Ironbridge. Although strictly speaking they are towns not cities.

Even the most unlikely cities have attractive areas though - the Peace Gardens in Sheffield, the beautiful shopping arcades in Leeds, even the town hall and gardens in Barnsley.

Bath, Oxford, Cambridge.. We lived in the South East of England for a while, always found pretty villages and places round there.

York is beautiful,
Edinburgh for me is meh.
Glasgow has some fantastic architecture
Liverpool is a beautiful city

Lincoln is really pretty.
Edinburgh is grand rather than pretty imo.
York has a lovely feel and is pretty, especially around Xmas time.
