Mortgage advice

Have worked for current employer for more than 2 years. Recently increased contracted hours from part time to full time. Does anyone know if I will still need 3 months payslips showing full time wage before I can apply for a mortgage? Could I get a decision in principle with only one full time payslip so I can at least start looking at properties? Thanks for any advice.

Yes, but it will be dependent on you providing more payslips by the time you get to the stage of approval.

Did your employer give you a letter showing you will now be doing full time hours? If so, this is usually accepted in addition to the payslips you can provide to date (even if that is only 1). If they didn't give you a letter, ask them for one and a mortgage provider usually accepts this - its the same with pay rises!

Thanks both, that's helpful info.
