Zip & link beds?

Can anyone recommend a good zip & link bed? Need a new bed and fed up of bouncing all over the place when DH comes to bed later than me! On holiday we slept on two singles pushed together and had the best nights sleep ever! Thinking of possibly getting slightly bigger the two singles, maybe two queens or small doubles. Not very keen on divan type beds but will go on recommendations! DH is 6"4 and very heavy!

I'm currently trying to get force DH to get a zip and link king size.
I might start "accidentally" elbowing him my sleep....

Our bed isn't zip and link but the mattress is a pocket spring one with a memory foam cushion top. My DP does not get in to and out of bed gently but I often don't even realise he's got up. It does scare the shit out me though when I realise there's someone walking in the bedroom!

It is also super king sized too which I'd highly recommend if you have space. It's been a definite relationship saver for us!

I have previously considered separate duvets too but I know he'd still pinch it anyway!

They are very common on the continent if you can get someone to deliver to you. Beterbed.nl in the Netherlands is typical.

We ordered ours from here johnryanbydesign.co.uk/product-category/mattresses/
(Sorry if not clicky)
I have a soft one and my husband a really firm one (which in his opinion is not firm enough but it's like sleeping on the floor to me.)

I second the John Ryan beds, we bought one a few years ago, very expensive super king zip and link but by far the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in.

Double duvet each, super king pocket sprung JL mattress is our recipe for harmony

Thank you for replies, off to google. We definitely need 'separate' actual beds and mattress. But close enough if one of us feels like they want to hop over Grin

We recently got a new bed with a Leesa mattress. My DH is a very restless sleeper and I can't feel him move at all now

We have zip and link (superking) it's fantastic.

DP also likes to starfish which in the past led to arguments as he would deny he was taking more than his fair share of the bed. We now have a very clear unarguable line.

Silly question but i was thinking of buying just the divan base linked style bed. The super king which is the size of two singles. My kids have the most lovely foam mattresses that were around £100 each! Thinking of buying a couple more of these to put on top! Not fussed about zipping the mattresses together. Could work out a lot cheaper. Can foam type mattresses sit on top of divan sprung bases?

We have a super king bed frame with two single mattresses and a topper. It’s fantastic - I don’t feel any movement from hubby but also don’t feel the join at all. Thoroughly recommend it for light sleepers (or heavy husbands!), and the mattresses were far better values than zip/link ones.

Another for John Ryan - we actually got a custom length because my husband is 6 foot 8! We each have a different mattress softness too.
