Hello - it is possible we are moving to Hitchin with a child in Yr4 - I have had a look at the Herts website and it appears there are no vacancies in this yr group other than Hexton (is this in Hitchin)
Has anyone moved to Hitchin in yr - what has been your experience? If there are no suitable places in Hitchin where was your child allocated a place?
We are looking at other locations one of them being Cheam which seems on the surface to have more availability in school places. But Hitchin is more similar to the area we are moving from and would be our slight favourite at this stage. But dont want to move then find we are travelling 20 miles a day to school ot whatever.
Any thoughts experiences appreciated
