Taps which won’t start dripping after only 3 years

I live in a very hard water area but can’t afford a water softener. What’s the best type or brand of tap (kitchen and bath) to buy to avoid replacing frequently due to scale? Three years doesn’t seem reasonable. Plumber assures me he can’t do more than replace them now.

I've found Ikea taps fantastic. Much better than some very fancy, expensive brands.

Bristan.

I recommend taps with washers, which you can easily replace, and not taps with ceramic cartridges, especially the mixers which have a single joystickk.

Thank you very much!
