Just that really, what's up there, how it's accessed, how big and an idea of costs.

Ours was 60k around 7 years ago, including 11 Velux windows (excessive but lovely), a bathroom, a decent sized double bedroom, small landing, storage cupboard, new hot water tank, carpets and decoration.

Accessed via removing airing cupboard, decimating cupboard in a bedroom and losing a corner off a ceiling in our ensuite, (90degrees to existing staircase).

South Coast.

Ours was £80k and was finished a few months ago. Large double bedroom (16’x 16’), en-suite, built-in wardrobe and several storage cupboards. Accessed by shaving a 5ft wide slice out of one of our 1st floor double bedrooms (it was a large room so is still a double now) to fit the stairs in. More expensive than average due to a weird shaped roof that needed a bespoke dormer and a lot of steel beams.

Also south coast!
