Looking for advice as when we moved house (2002) we had some work done. This involved chimney breast removal and adding French windows. We didn't get any permission or council checks - don't know why naivety or stupidity, of course now I really regret it. I have no reason to think there was a problem with the work, I saw the giant support they put in etc. I have seen this issue come up on threads and as I will need to sell in a couple of years I want to try and get it sorted. Any advice how I sort this?
