AEG or ELICA Chimney Cooker Hood ??

After having gone through nearly all cooker hoods with high extraction rate (>700m3/hr) and priced less than £800, I more or less settled on these two models.

AEG DKB5960HM 90 cm Chimney Cooker Hood, for an impressive 779m3/hr extraction rate but low noise level. However, it's C class ratings for Grease Filtering Efficiency & Fan Efficiency make me unsure if it can do a decent job in my kitchen. - I stir fry a lot and sometimes can get the air quite oily and smoky.

Elica Tamaya HP 90 Chimney Cooker Hood. I heard lots of people mention this brand. People do complain it's noisy. But for me, it's the extraction rating and its grease filter efficiency that matter more. JL has it for less than £400 and if I add £70, would have 5 years warranty as a reassurance.

Anyone has experience with these two models? I didn't see many people commenting about AEG cooker hood in general. Are they any good at all?

Thanks.

I prefer Elica.

The noise gets louder as you turn the extract rate up.

I prefer a canopy, but if you want a chimney shape, fine.

You are having an extractor, aren't you?

Not just recirculating the hot steamy air back into the kitchen?

I see it uses a 6-inch duct for great airflow.
