Hello dear all,
My husband and I we are looking to buy a property btw 400/ 500k. We like the Greenwich borough, we have a little girl and I’m looking forward to find a nice green place with good primary school’s and a decent neighbourhood and close to amenities.
Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.Smile Thank you!

Are you dead set on the borough of Greenwich? In SE London, the borough of Bromley would be much better if you want greenery, lower crime rates and better schools.

Within Greenwich, you could look around Lee/Hither Green. Excellent primaries (but you'll probably want to move for secondary), Manor Gardens and Blackheath quite close for a bit more green space.

Unfortunately you are unlikely to find a house within that budget in Greenwich unless you look in the Plumstead area. There are some small but nice 3 beds st the top of Shooters Hill Rd - about a 10 min drive to Greenwich Park. No train stations close by though but there are bus routes. It's safe and green as it's close to Oxleas Woods. You'll get a lot more for your money in neighbouring Bexley Borough and the schools are very good in Bexley too try DA14 postcode (or DA15). It's a 20 minute drive to Blackheath. Trains from New Eltham take 14 minutes to London Bridge.
