My mum is about to retire and wants to sort out her house, which hasn't been maintained very well for a while. She's not selling it or planning any building work, but she basically wants someone to go through and tell her exactly what needs sorting out and what to prioritise. Is this a job for a surveyor or general builder? Or someone else?
I think she's a bit overwhelmed and doesn't really know where to start so has asked me for help. Has anyone done this? Advice will be gratefully received!
