Hi, I'm currently on band B medical, with the council. We have made the top 5 for the 4 bed house, and I have been nominated for it. I rang to see what happens next, but they wouldn't tell me anything. On the bidding system, all it shows is the status, and placement of 1-5. I do hope we have got the house, but it's the not knowing. It's been nearly two weeks now! Any pointers??

They won’t tell you where you are within 1-5. The successful nominated person will be contacted and relative checks carried out. Only the successful bidders will be contacted with an offer. Others in the shortlist won’t be contacted unless first priority applicant rejects the property. It’s a waiting game, but you’ll only be contacted if no 1
