Hi diyers of mumsnet
We are finally in our new house that we plan to renovate and extend! Once the essentials are done we get to start choosing the fun stuff so would love recommendations for the following:
Bathroom suites - we are currently looking at Victorian plumbing (heard that's better than victoria plumb but may be wrong?) Also interested to hear of any others that do a good package deal for L shaped bath and shower, loo and basin vanity unit and taps etc included would be a bonus.
Kitchens....weve heard from a source howden do an epic sale in october so will be investigating this but interested in any other recommendations we like shaker style pebble/ sage sort of colour units seem to be a hit with us both.
Tiles! We are having underfloor heating throughout (DHs trade) so have decided to have tiles from the hall through to extension, we love limestone but on speaking to a guy in topps tiles he advised getting the porcelain that look like limestone as lower maintenance (we have a 2yo and nearly 1yo so I'm all for practical) so with topps being most well known anyone know of lesser known companies good for tiles. We are also looking for general kitchen and bathroom ones too.
Carpets upstairs will be carpeted probably sticking with a gray theme so any recommendations for carpet.
Wood flooring for our living room.
We want to save where we can but still have good quality so I'm not looking for top end luxury just trusted companies others have used.
Tia and I'd love to see any photos as I'm cosy like that 😁😁
