Is this product idea any good?

I am taking Design and Technology for GCSE and was wondering if a product that could be attached the wheels of a buggy or pushchair that would enable the buggy to go up and down stairs would be useful.

I was thinking it would be the most help in the tube or other similar public transport.

Is this a problem that needs solving in the first place? If so is there anything obvious that I should know about before designing it.

From a safety pov, I think it's a non-starter. Encouraging people to wheel buggies up and down stairs in a tube station is a really bad idea.

It depends.
If it did help go up and downstairs in a very safe way, then yes it would be very helpful.
