I'm moving to Somerset for work and have found a cheap bungalow in Wookey.
I think Wookey is lovely, lots of lovely countryside all around, beautiful hills and rivers. I think it looks idyllic.
A friend has pissed on my parade by saying it looks like an ex local authority and will be like straw dogs and i'll be plunged into rural poverty and crime!!
Can someone reassure me about this village.
I tend to be over optimistic and I don't want to end up in a wicker man somewhere.
