Just wondering what the rough cost was. I already have a built in wardrobe. But it needs sorting out with proper fittings.

I had a Sliderobes fitted wardrobe put in about eight years ago. It's about 3.5m in four sections, two have a double layer of short hanging, the other two have shelves above drawers. They're beautiful quality and I've been really pleased with them.

I think the cost then was about £6K, which I thought was expensive, but the quality of the fittings, the way the drawers and doors work and the standard of workmanship mean that I can see exactly what I paid for and think it was worth every penny.

I've had Sharps and Strachan fitted wardrobes before, and been happy with them, but I'd definitely go for Sliderobes again if I ever wanted built-in in another house.

Actually, thinking about it, I had another wardrobe fitted by them at the same time (about 2m of long hanging) and I think that price I quoted may well have included that as well, so not as expensive as I thought Grin
