removing pattern from shower screen

diy novice here! i’m after giving our bathroom a bit of a cheap and cheerful makeover - tile stickers, fresh paint etc. the existing shower screen put in by previous owner has very dated pattern on the glass - any tips on how to remove this to make the shower screen plain?

the pattern is definitely on the surface because it’s ever so slightly raised. i’ve tried soaking it with ammonia / WD40 and using a razor blade scraper but no joy...

If it's etched then you can't remove it, only etch the rest of the screen. Picture?

thanks so much for replying. sorry i’m not really familiar with the lingo - i thought etched would mean like engraved into the glass? this is definitely on top of it. i’m on the website rather than app so can’t add a pic - will download the app now.

yes, it is.
like a pale grey.

It does sound etched, if it is then you can't get rid. You can get armour etch and etch your own designs with a stencil to maybe make it look less dated, or perhaps a vinyl decal on the dry side of the screen?
