We completed yesterday (4pm!!)...yay!
House went on the market 18/1/19
Sold 4/5/19
Chain collapsed 14/7/19 (day of exch)
Chain repaired 22/7/19
Blood sweat and tears!!
We put our house on the market after falling in love with our dream home (on RM) between Christmas & New Year and by the time i called the office when they reopened it was sstc.
We still asked to be kept in mind in case it fell through.
Lo and be hold it fell through but we had to wait for an offer on ours but we put an offer in subject to ours selling... We got one and our offer was accepted!!
When it then fell through (3 person chain) it felt like we were going to lose out and it was a horrendous week where we were faced with the possibility of spending the summer holidays, the last before our daughter started school, getting the 'fake house' viewing ready (not easy with 2 children!)
But we were saved!
We became a 'circular chain'... the person we are buying from bought our buyers property!!!
Ahmazing!!
Our EA and solicitors MORE than earnt their fee's ha ha!
Cant wait to complete next Friday (23rd)
