Replacing a light switch?

I've noticed that when I turn off my kitchen light, occasionally there is a blue spark around it. I've had a Google, which suggests a new switch is needed.
Screwfix have got pages & pages of them, and I've spotted some that look like mine by a company called Schneider, but what type do I need for just a single switch to turn on one ceiling light?
They have ~
1 Gang or 2 Gang
2 Way or 1 Way
10 AX or 16 AX
What do these mean, what is AX?
Will the pack come with screws, or do I buy them separately, if so what size/type?

All help and advice gratefully received.

Following out of interest as I need to change a double for a single.

AX is the amp rating. If it's just a light, 10 AX will be fine.
'Gang' is how many switches there are on the plate.
If you have a 2 way switch, you can have another switch somewhere else controlling the same thing.

Thanks very much MongerTruffle That explains it all lovely, I know what to order now! Yes, it is just one fluorescent light, so I will get 10AX.
