Shutters on small windows

Morning.
We had shutters on our old 1930s semi and they looked amazing. we're now moving into a 200 year old small cottage and I'd like to shutter it again. I've googled loads but can't seem to find any photos of shutters on a cottage/smaller windows, which makes me think they won't work.

Has anyone got a cottage with plantation shutters? Or any local to you? Anyone got any photos? Thanks so much.

Shutters block a fair bit of light so it's uncommon to usethem in properties with small windows.

I don't know who does them but you may need a specialist shutter company. I think they always look fab on old cottages.

Pinterest for ideas - or Houzz.co.uk as they also link to the supplier
