So I'm buying a house! Lenders have said I can have the money, the valuation has come back as bang on! But solicitors haven't done any searches yet! Will I get the official mortgage offer if this hadn't been done yet?

Nope. Your solicitor will usually work for the lender as well and were probably waiting to see the valuation was at the price agreed. Bang on valuations are very typical unless there's a major issue.

Contact them and ask them what they doing next and what they need from you, if anything.

The broker has said we're in the queue for the underwriters again and will hear back Friday or Monday
