Help me chose a vinyl tile

Hate choosing a floor. I have seen this one and like it and like this range of tiles.
Hoping it is not going to be too dark and will not show dirt.
It is going to be in an open plan kitchen and living area. Biggish area but not massive, loads of light.
Kitchen is going to be dark blue with white marbly effect worktops. Walls will be white probably.
Any advice? Hope link works!

I think that's really lovely. Not too dark at all - we've recently stained our floor that colour and immediately panicked thinking it was too dark but love it now! It's also a large, light room so I think it'll look great. Do you have some samples? Test it out in different parts of the room at different times of day - ours runs north to south so looks really dark in one corner and really light in another IYSWIM.

Kitchen design sounds beautiful.

Thanks Mammabella, that has made me feel better. I have seen samples in the shop and was nice, but have been looking at the floor e room visualiser on the website and one of the rooms it looks quite dark. I have ordered some samples as well.

Kitchen is a bit brave but saw a blue kitchen on here recently by a mumsnetter and was lovely. So hope it will work. Can I ask if yours is easy to keep clean or does it show dirt. I had one floor a few years ago that always looked dirty and showed every mark and was awful to live with.

It's really nice!

THanks Five,
Going to try and upload the two photos to show the difference which worries me.

I don’t have any experience with that brand, but have had Karndean in my kitchen for the past 4 years and would highly recommend. I like the colour and the description though I think that would be really nice. I wish we had got Karndean parquet style in ours!

THanks Long, i have done lots of research and like this brand. The tiles are big and they are extremely hardwearing!
Just worried about the two pictures of seemingly the same tile and the colour difference.

Can you get a sample? I agree that they don’t look anything alike

Humphriescushion · 09/08/2019 20:27

Have ordered one, have seen one and colour between the two.

There's a lot of shade in that first photo. A wear layer of 0.7 is really good. If you like it, have it.

mammabella1 · 09/08/2019 23:21

Ours is fine in terms of showing dirt - I sweep every day or two and mop weekly. It's completely fine! If anything the darkness almost highlights the grain of the wood which does wonders for hiding dirt... Wink It'll be great. As PP have said, spend some time with your samples as it's a large room - they are your friend!

Humphriescushion · 10/08/2019 05:35

Yes Wow thats what I thought about the wear layer and I like the the bevel as well. The trouble is there are others in the same range I like as well. I will wait for the samples and keep bothering the shop till I am sure. Need a bit of handholding with it.

THanks Mamma, good to know!
