I had a local carpenter on speed dial for ages, he was fab, I knew his work and his prices. He's now retired. Got a quote from a new guy for some work but to me it sounds expensive. This is what I want done:
- 4 new cupboard doors for an existing built in wardrobe in nursery
- 1 new internal stable door on drawing room
- 1 new picture rail around built in dressing room
- 1 new moulding around spare room window as it had broken off before we moved in
- 1 new ball thing for bannister as it was missing since we moved in
In SE but not London. Don't need doors or anything painted. What would people expect to be quoted for this job?
