This house was going ok until the downstairs toilet photo. They look too beady-eyed.

I love it!

BogglesGoggles · 30/07/2019 16:48

Wow, that was really unexpected.

Disfordarkchocolate · 30/07/2019 16:49

That's lovely. The only things I'd need to change is the green behind the cooker. I like a cheerful house (sitting in the very green living room and planning more colour).

ToftheB · 30/07/2019 16:50

I love it!

Marylou2 · 30/07/2019 16:55

Not my taste but I kind of love it. If you're going to go crazy the looks the place to do it 😀

LoveGrowsWhere · 30/07/2019 16:58

Nooo! Are you all bonkers? Definitely claustrophobia inducing.

I always thought it was normal for downstairs toilets to have crazy wallpaper?

It’s not to my exact taste but I much prefer colour & personality as opposed to identikit grey (the new magnolia) walls. Plus most decor is easily changed.

Tentomidnight · 30/07/2019 17:04

I love bold wallpaper in the downstairs loo Grin

BlossomCat · 30/07/2019 17:24

Ooh! I went to a cocktail bar in New York city, that had the same wallpaper in the ladies loo.
I loved it, not overwhelming at all!

AlbertWinestein · 30/07/2019 17:27

BlossomCat, I’ve been in that loo! I kind of love the whole house, except for the room with the dog wallpaper which is weird as DD used to have that exact wallpaper in her bedroom.

Snooks1971 · 30/07/2019 17:31

This is outing but we’ve had that same flamingo wallpaper on our landing for the last 3-4 years and have just changed it to something completely different. Most people seemed to love it (or so they said!)
A gas engineer once came to service the boiler and fell in love with it.

LoveGrowsWhere · 30/07/2019 17:45

Snooks have you been equally bold this time round?

OP posts:
Snooks1971 · 30/07/2019 17:55

LoveGrowsWhere yes! Grin

Wow! Those are birds I could live with but not the snakes.

hsegfiugseskufh · 30/07/2019 18:05

Absolutely love it. snooks im having that one in my hallway Grin

fancynancyclancy · 30/07/2019 18:13

LOve that jungle paper.

peachgreen · 30/07/2019 18:15

I love that house. Not all to my exact taste but it's been well done and has personality. And thank fuck it's not crushed grey velvet and mirrored cabinets.

Trickyteens · 30/07/2019 23:49

I like the whitish pink bedroom. Anyone recognise the colour?

AcrossthePond55 · 30/07/2019 23:58

I could live with the flamingos. But not the Incredible Hulk wallpaper that's in one of the bedrooms!

Or the green backsplash.

IamAporcupine · 31/07/2019 00:08

I love the house and almost all the deco (except the green behind the cooker)

But what I could not leave with is the stretched map - Alaska is in the wrong place! Grin

Ohyesiam · 31/07/2019 00:14

Oppressively low ceilings in dark colours. It would be like being in a coffin.

AndWhatNext · 31/07/2019 00:24

Not keen on the TV room, looks really boring and the photo makes it look really oppressive.

Namaste6 · 31/07/2019 02:54

The house definitely has 'something'. Could do a lot with that. The bath is fab! Pity about the toilet seat and bathroom tiles though. A PP mentioned 'oppressive' - I know what you mean. Rooms with too much going on around the periphery with large spaces in the centre are oppressive.

Monty27 · 31/07/2019 03:51

I don't like it. It's definitely lacking light and airiness. It probably wouldn't take a great deal to change it.
