Replacement Boiler

Hi - Seeking advice as this is my first rental agreement and i'm not sure if im being unreasonable. I reported a fault on boiler to my letting agents on Friday 19th. They sent a plumber the same day who advised the boiler needs replacing. They admitted to having previous problems with the boiler and had already advised the owners it should be replaced. This plumber provided two quotes on the same day and was available on the Monday or Tuesday to replace. The owners wanted a second opinion/quote and a visit was made on Tuesday afternoon. He provided his quote on Wednesday morning and also had availability to complete within the week. On Thursday i had not heard back and the owners suggested they wanted a third quote from a plumber over 70 miles away! He provided the quote without visiting the property and has come in over £400 cheaper. They have clearly snapped his hand off, but he cannot replace until Tuesday the 6th August.
Am i being unreasonable expecting the owners to find a middle ground between price and availability or is 2.5 weeks a "reasonable" amount of time ? TIA

Personally I think it is reasonable, though if it was in the middle of winter that might be different!
