Zanussi's repair/fault company, Respond Services, is dire

NEVER buy Zanussi. Respond Services is appalling. Zanussi's products are fine if they work, but god help you if you need to deal with Respond Serivces. it's taking WEEKS to get a faulty hob fixed. it leaks gas, so my installer capped it; when the engineer came to see it he said it's not connected, that's the problem, and said he would order the connector to come to me. He didn't order it, didn't even mention it on his notes; it's only because I followed up that anything happened. I was then given conflicting information by the man on the end of the phone, and he didn't understand the very basic issue that, if the part comes and my fitter fits it and it still leaks gas, he's going to have to take it off again to make it safe and then what? the engineer comes again and again says that it doesn't have the part on it? and this is after the engineer didn't turn up for the first time and RS tried to charge me £36 for his no show. I've spent HOURS trying to sort this out. I am too weary to go into the full story, but rest assured i will NEVER buy Zanussi again because of this. I strongly recommend you don't either.
