Meant to exchange next week. The lawyers said we could do it today if I got all the paperwork to them. Only one thing was outstanding, which had to be scanned and emailed over, which I did this morning.
Then I had a call from the solicitor which I unfortunately missed, but the voicemail said that documents were missing, no indication of which documents though. So I call back twice, no answer. I email and ask for clarification of what is missing as I was under the impression that we were good to go. They reply that I should post the documents asap via recorded delivery
I'm probably going to print EVERYTHING off again, but fgs how hard is it to say explicitly what is missing? And why bloody tell me at the last moment?!
We've had issues and niggles throughout the whole journey so far, so I don't know why I'm surprised...
