Another boiler service already?!

I got my newish combi boiler serviced in January and a few weeks back got an email from the company (local firm I purchase it from) informing me that my boiler is due a service blah blah safety blah blah warranty. So I checked when they were over last time and emailed back saying there must be a mistake because I had it done in January. Didn't get a response to that.

And now there's another email with the same wording informing me it's due a service next month.

Do you think they're they taking the piss? I was of the impression that boilers only need serviced once a year.

Taking the piss. It needs doing yearly. DH is a gas engineer

Is it covered by the warranty?

I think some companies like to do them in summer because of the winter workload, so you might find they will want to do it now, then again next summer.

Yes, weird though that they haven't mentioned this before and just keep sending emails! They could have explained that when I replied, weird.
