Worcester Bosch Boiler having to be reset.

Had boiler serviced by British Gas at end of June. Engineer cleaned it out and renewed a filter. However, two weeks ago I got into shower and it started as normal heating up and then suddenly went cold. I got out and went to look at the boiler. The reset button and the button next to it were both flashing. I pressed the reset button and went back to the shower. It heated up normally. Husband used it after me and everything normal. The next time I used it everything was normal but once more it has needed resetting. Only the shower has affected it. I would be grateful if anyone else has had a similar problem and could give us an idea what could be causing it. Thank you for reading this.

We had that problem after our boiler had been serviced and it turned out they had fitted a new part as part of the service that was faulty as it worked intermittently - I think it was heat exchanger? Get BG back to replace.

Thank you for that notaflying monkey. As you say it works okay intermittently. They only fitted a new filter but the heat exchanger could be wearing out. It sounds like it as it is as the shower needs to maintain the heat that the boiler cuts out. Thank you I will try to sort out an appointment for next week.
