We were told by a friend that good painters are usually booked months ahead. So we are thinking to find a way start getting quote and etc.
But the house extension has only been completed 60%. The big shapes (walls and etc.) are there but internal walls are yet to be build. Everything is in a "raw" state.
I'm wondering if it's realistic to ask the decorators to come have a look of the house. With our general idea of where to paint and coving etc., to have some quotes before booking one soon.
The house is not expected to be sign off by the builder until near end of August. We just don't want to find a decorator the last minute and find out having to wait for ages.
