Countertop/tabletop dishwashers

I really want a dishwasher, but have no room, even for a slimline one. So I have been looking at tabletop/countertop ones. But what I can't work out is whether they need to be plumbed in like a normal dishwasher (which would mean putting holes in the work top etc if the hose needs to go under the sink?).

Please if anyone has one could they explain how it works plumbing wise.

Wee bump...

I bought a Klarstein Amazonia Mini from Amazon a couple of months ago. It can be plumbed in or you can do as I do and pour water into the tank with jugs before you start it. It needs to be close to a sink so that you can put the outlet hose in there. I'm not sure if this is the case for them all or not.

Thanks @CheeseCakeSunflowers, that's the sort of thing I am looking for, something that doesn't need to be plumbed in. Are yo uhappy with it?

Yes it works fine but it doesn't hold much at a time. I mainly use it when I want to give items with fiddley corners a proper clean and I still wash up the easy things by hand. I recently removed my frying pan handle so I could put that in as it wouldn't fit with it on. I think it would suit someone who lives alone but it's too small for a family.

I know this wasn't your exact question, but be aware how big/small they may be inside. I recently stayed in a holiday cottage with one and the dinner plates were too tall so still had to be washed by hand. Check before you buy.
