Mortgage fees

If the property purchase stopped for any reason during the surveyor phase , will I take back the mortgage fees that were paid to the bank ( Halifax ) ?

Usually if you end up not taking the mortgage then yes you might not get that fee back but it is worth checking with Halifax.

I think you'd get the product fee (or be able to use it on another property) but I don't think you'll get the survey fees back if it's been done.

You won't get back the valuation fee
