I’m waiting for a plumber to come out but the noise is driving me insane so wondered if anyone had any tips to stop the noise before they get here to have a proper look!
Old Baxi combi boiler has randomly started bleeping. It’s a single bleep every minute, a bit like when a smoke alarm / CO2 detector gets a low battery. (It’s definitely not either of those - I’ve checked.) Hot water is still working but heating isn’t. Pressure is a bit low but I’m not comfortable repressurising it until someone who knows about boilers has given it the all-clear!
Looking online keeps throwing up the answer that boilers don’t bleep... but this one clearly doesn’t use Google and doesn’t know what it’s meant to do.
Any ideas?
