Hello , please i need your advice ,

If I am a first time buyer for a house in The Uk but I own a small property in my home country ,should i pay the stamp duty ?

I would guess so but have no idea. Your solicitor would tell you as part of their initial quote.

I believe you should (but also am not a lawyer) but I think you would be able to apply for a refund if you sell the other property within 36 months of the transaction.

Yes. The rules say you're not a first time buyer if you own a house anywhere in the world. It's o. The gov.uk pages if you want to see the full explanation.
