Anyone know how much this could cost?

Hi everyone

Im currently renting so have no idea how much renovations tend to cost. My husband and I think we've found a house to buy but we will need to make some changes to the bathroom as it currently is a tiny shower room without a bath. Not the most practical with kids!

We are wanting to move the boiler and washing machine which are currently in a cupboard in the bathroom to make more space for a bath. This would mean removing the shower cubicle and adding a bath with overhead shower.

Is anyone here in the trade/ know roughly how much something like this would cost? It will help us to make the right offer on the house!

Tia

I’d certainly leave 3-6k to do the work. I’m not in the trade though. Just currently renovating.

Very difficult to say, a lot would depend on how easy it would be to relocate the boiler.

You'd be best getting a plumber in to look and give you an estimate.

Thanks for your replies. As it is, we'd need to bath the baby either in their bath put in the shower cubicle or in the kitchen sink... I can imagine this would be tricky!

Babies aren't babies for long. My babies were washed in the kitchen sink. Happy memories.
