Flush bifold doors

Does anyone have bifold doors which are flush with their patio outside.

Any negatives? Builders have said we will get more splash from rain than if we have a 30mm sill.

We have no outdoor sill but ours are flush with decking that has a decent void underneath so we have practically no splash. What about having one of those long thin grill-drains alongside?

Mine are flush with porcelain tiles inside and out. There's a channel grate on the outside.

I can't say I've noticed a lot of splashing! I do pay a window cleaner to come every month though! 🙄

Will definitely go for a grate. As long as no issues with flooding I'm happy to clean the windows a bit more! Already will get sticky fingers on them so will need cleaning regularly!
