York - Bishopthorpe Road school help!

Hi everyone,

If you live in or around the Bishy Road area where do your kids go to secondary school? It’s in the catchment for Millthorpe but do ppl ever go to Arch Bishop’s or Fulford from bishy rd?

Also, how are knavesmire and Scarcroft doing since becoming academies and are they impossible to get into - i’ll be transferring a year 2 and a year 5. Thanks!

Unfortunately, although my children go to school in York I can't help much other than to say that Archie's does have a number of "Foundation" places for Christian children and if your children qualify (regular church attendance) they can have places there despite being from outside the catchment area.
