How long until you got your first viewing?

House has been on with the EA for a few days, on Rightmove since yesterday.

We priced it at a level the estate agent thought it would get a lot of interest but so far not one viewing requested.

How long did it take you? I'm maybe being impatient!

If it just went live give it a couple days. I would imagine a few people will call the agent Saturday to make appointments for next week. If not, ask your agent why.

Yes, you are being a tad impatient. I would give it a few day at least.....maybe even a week. My house is on the market & my EA sends me a report every 2 weeks with the number of "hits" its received on rightmove (no idea how accurate or true this is). It been live since 7 June & it gets around 25 online views a week & I've had 6 actual vewings. But not a sinhle offer. It can be a long waiting game.

It was a week and a half from me instructing the agent to the first viewing, house was on Rightmove within 2 days.

Then viewings were a bit hit and miss - there would be 3 or 4 within a couple of days, then nothing for almost a fortnight.

The viewings will come - my first purchaser pulled out for reasons known only to them (seriously, nobody has been able to get in touch with them since - their solicitor informed mine, and I then let the EA know!), but a few more weeks of viewings in the same 'feast-or-famine' format as originally and I had another buyer (for more than the first, as it happens).

I know it's frustrating though when you're waiting for those first viewings! Smile

Thanks all, perhaps I am being impatient. Don't think the EA has helped my expectations with the comment "at that price it should sell in a week"!

Depends in the demand in your area.

I'm from Bristol and we went on rightmove and had 3 viewings booked in within 8 hours and someone viewed within 24 hours and offer was accepted.

It differs so much

My last house webt on the market in october last year. First viewer was afyer 1 week. Second viewer was nit till around 6 weeks and they bought it!
It was on rightmove in around 2 days from the pictures being taken
