How much for stairs carpet?

Can anyone give me an idea how much you paid for carpet on stairs and landing at all?
I’m a bit of a novice in the carpet buying world and have a company coming out to measure on Friday.
They are going to bring samples too. I guess I need something hard wearing due to the usage.
Any other things I need to be aware of?

Don't know the answer but also interested to know. I'd paint your woodwork at the same time if you're getting new carpet too.

Carpet cost can vary hugely depending on which one you choose. We have just ordered one for the staircase only at £16.50 per square metre, and with gripper and underlay its costing just over £160. Fitting is costing £50.

Yes @ilovesocks final coat goes on on Saturday! There are 22 steps in total and 2 landings, 1 is 1m 2m and the other is 1m 3.5m.
Did you have to buy lots of excess @Shakirasma?

Totally depends what you want to spend, our first house we got a great, hard wearing carpet off cut for £100 and it was £40 to fit. Bought one for our bigger new house earlier this year and spent £400,
£60 to fit. I think the first one was nicer actually as this one seems to be getting tread marks already Blush
