Which colour?

I posted yesterday having a panic mid way through my bathroom being plastered, but so far, so good.

Now I need to decide what colour to paint it, and I'd really appreciate some opinions.

I have attached two photos to show the colours in my tiles. I was originally planning on Dulux Mellow Mocha, but now I'm thinking of going a sort of dark teal? But my bathroom is windowless, so is that too dark?

I will be painting the part wall you can see, the entire wall to the right that you can't see, and part wall beside the shower screen.

Any other suggestions welcome!

I'd pick out a colour from the tiles, but go lighter. I love those tiles though!

dark teal is very dark when it drys i made that mistake in a longe as soon as i had done it i hated it and painted over it maybe a light blue would brighten the walls up

thats lounge not longe

I'd go for the lighter option. Teal would be way too dark.

What about a warm grey?

Something in the same colour palette as teal, but a lighter tone, would be lovely.

I'm not keen on grey, especially in a windowless room.

Dulux do those colour cards with different tones on - could you match a teal to the tiles and then pick a lighter tone from the same card?

I'll try that @UbercornsGoggles but I really don't want a wishy washy teal.

I wish I had just had the whole lot tiled now.

Mellow Mocha was lilac on our living room walls. If you are thinking you should have tiled the lot, why not paint the wall white and put up a mirror with a teal frame? You can follow this through with towels and other accessories.

@wowfudge Yes, i had tried Mellow Mocha already and it looked quite different on each wall I tested on.

I already have my mirror - round, light wood to match my flooring and floor standing cabinet. I also need to buy a framed picture to hide a weird access panel thing above the toilet.
