Anyone used these for their mortgage? We submitted our application into them on the 6th of June. They are just so slow! Is it a good thing? Should we be worried?

6/6/19 submitted application
10/6/19 request for employment contract
11/6/19 valuation instructed
13/6/19 valuation completed
17/6/19 more info required re Deposit
3/7/19 issue raised about tenure (?)
3/7/19 had to chase up more info re the leasehold
4/7/19 application passed onto senior underwriter for final review- broker thinks they may ask more questions about tenure but thinks we should get an offer soon..

It's just so slow!

I had a Clydesdale mortgage, the process was a bit too long, I remember my personal manager had to chase it for me.

I have a mortgage with Clydesdale, have done for the last 6 years.

They're not particularly slow.

Barely 20 working days since application has been submitted, I wouldn't be particularity bothered at this point.

I've used their commercial mortgage arm for a holiday let mortgage - they did need the occasional prod, but were mostly very efficient.
