Searching old house prices by date?

I know about Zoopla, where you can look up an address and see price history.

But is there anywhere that provides a view of prices by date and area, i.e. you could search and it would show what had been sold at what prices in an area in a given year? You could see what a certain amount would have bought in a location at the time, like a historical Rightmove search. (Since whenever it was these records started being public the way they are in Zoopla)

RIghtmove sold prices. Or just Land Registry records (but those won’t have agency listings with them).

Land Registry? www.gov.uk/government/organisations/land-registry

Brilliant thanks. Never expected the land registry would have that. I thought they were just for looking up who owned specific properties.
