How much does a York stone patio cost?

Thinking of replacing the boring and old concrete slabs on the patio. It's approx 25 feet wide and 12 feet deep. Simple design straight across back of house . Is it worth investing in this for re-sale value? ( 4-bed, 2 bath house worth around £650K in SE.)

Yes. It won’t be cheap though as that’s quite big. It will be way better than concrete slabs won’t it. We have ours edged in brick and do think about planting to soften the edges. I don’t want to comment on cost because ours is 10 years old and has steps too plus brickwork. However York stone is better then sandstone so don’t get an inferior product. Our York stone had varying depths so it needs a professional to lay it in my view. You will enjoy it when it’s done though.

Reclaimed York Stone is going to cost around £70 per square metre plus installation.

Our old street pavements were York stone. Beautiful but lots of issues with them being stolen. So make sure yours haven’t been nicked from somewhere!
