I am totally overwhelmed by choice and don't know where to begin. The bathroom showrooms are so expensive but I can't judge the quality of the online shops 😭 Can anyone recommend a good bathroom site? I'm looking for walk in shower enclosure with tray, vanity sink, taps, toilet, wall tiles and towel rail for a loft bathroom. Please send help!!

Have done two bathrooms in the last year and bought a mixture from both soak.com and Victorian plumbing. Would recommend either. My bathroom fitter said the quality is “much the same” wherever you buy from. Good luck!

Another vote for soak.com and victoria plum. dh Is a plumber and always been happy with their products

Just don't buy anything from Bathstore as they've just gone into administration!

This is so helpful as I was about to ask the same. Good to hear from a plumber!

Thank you for the responses. I really like some bits a Victoria Plumb so that's good to know @WBWIFE

We have literally just ordered our whole bathroom from victoria plumb.

1 x free standing bath
1 x large walk in shower tray and screen
1 x vanity unit
1 x toilet
1 x black towel rail
1 x black basin tap
1 x black freestanding tap for bath
1 x black shower bar with rainfall shower and normal shower head

£1600, bargain!

We were happy with everything we got from Victoria plumb

I like Plumbworld, but you must get a good brand. Bristan fr taps; Aqualisa for mixer showers.

Some imported WCs have a poor flush. I recommend TRwyfords. Don't have the cistern walled up or tiled over. You must be able to take the lid off easily and get your hands inside when it goes wrong. Ask the salesman to show how to get the button off. If it takes more than a few seconds, don't buy it.

Don't buy a square bog unless you have a square arse. It might look novel, but a replacement seat will cost you a fortune, and may be unobtainable.

Flashy Stylish Italian taps may cause future sadness.

Pop-up plugs will leak. Always.

Clacker plugs seem OK, but nothing is as simple and reliable as a plug on a chain.

@PigletJohn thank you for the tips. I was worried about taps and had chosen a square toilet 😂 I will take a look at Plumb world.
