Recent Kitchens Experiences for Mid Price Companies

Hi

Would appreciate any of your recent kitchen experiences please.

We've always used DIY and never had any problems with the exception of their rather complicated order system. Their price and quality has always been fabulous and all our kitchens are still going strong.

Unfortunately DIY have had some production issue and they have a 14 week lead time! So we are back to the drawing board and need to know who is best.

We are looking for Shaker style painted kitchens.

We've had Howden, English Rose/Omega & Rixonway/Halvanto quotes. English Rose seem similar quality and price to DIY.

Was considering getting Magnet & Masterclass to quote too.

Ideally I would stick clear of Howdens and Magnet - just because I didn't really rate their products when I looked years ago.

Am I missing anyone else that's well regarded in the mid range price point? Does anyone have any good or bad experiences of late with any of the above.

Any help very appreciated

Best thing to do is get a credible designer ( a freelance concept planner ) to draw up specifically design for you plans, then shop around asking people to price up that plan . It's the only way to get good design that's unique to you and your needs and to be able to properly compare like for like prices and delivery times etc. You can negotiate better deals too as you won't need the full retail treatment .
