labour cost-laminate installation

Hiya
i was trying to calculate labour cost for laying 25 sqm of laminate and underlay in lounge and hallway; 5 doorways, staircase, fireplace, 2 radiators. My builder has quoted £600.
Does this seem excessive to anyone?
What should i be paying?
How many days would it take for 25sqm of laminate to be laid?

We paid £140 for a bedroom 4m x 3.5m

Very recently I had 40m2 laminate laid at £600. 3 days at £200 a day. He did 4 hours for free as really he actually did 3.5 day but never charged for it.

Excellent workmanship too. South East London based tradesman.

I have to add though this was 40m2 for three bedrooms.

As I want to match the floors in the lounge and hallway (another 40m2) eventually he did me a quote for that and it's actually more 5 days as he said the hallway is tricky with storage cupboards and lots of detail.

Perhaps he's allowing for the trickier areas
