Best paints to use

Hiya
Planning ahead for when we move - we will need to repaint the children's bedrooms but in thought of them wanting it changed in a few years we are loathe to pay £20 per pot of colour...

I vaguely remember someone mentioning Wilko's own brand paint being a good shout?

Can anyone verify this or weigh in on it?

I've not tried wilkos but also heard good things about it. I usually buy Homebase own brand colours. But £20 pot of paint is pretty standard price really. Homebase is about £15 for 2.5 litres.

Our decorator recommends Valspar paint from b&q. In fact he talked me out of Farrow and Ball saying that Valspar is way better!

Ahh cool thanks!
Just trying to keep costs low whilst not having awful looking walls!

We used Dulux endurance in our current house and will be again in our new house (if we ever move). We have also bought some paint from Next as loved a couple of colours in the show rooms. No idea how it will wear but Endurance is fab. Great with toddlers with dirty fingerprints on the paintwork. It wipes away easily and doesn't take the paint off.

Dulux is often 3 for 2 in wickes.
